Lucid dreaming is being conscious that you are in a dream state. The awareness ranges from slight recognition that you are in a dream to controlling the environment and all factors in your dream. Dreams are portals to the subconscious and it has the ability to offer as a glimpse of what are the things that trouble or boggle the mind even if the person is not conscious of it.
